September is Hunger Action Month and is Feeding America network’s nationwide awareness campaign that focuses on mobilizing the public to take action on the issue of hunger in America. This annual month long campaign brings together all the food banks in the Feeding America network to help bring attention the reality of food insecurity across the Unites States. The campaign promotes individuals in every state, city, and county to get involved in their communities to help end hunger. Everyone can make a difference in their community by simply VOLUNTEERING, DONATING, OR ADVOCATING. Be the voice of the many elderly, children and adults affected by food insecurity in the Coastal Bend.
