Coming soon to a kitchen near you, Diabetes Management Classes

The Food Bank of Corpus Christi announces its next series of ‘Diabetes Hand On’ Classes. The eight week course consists of 2 hour classes held once a week. Classes are available Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm or Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am. Food Bank of Corpus Christi’s ‘Nutrition Education Program’ in Action.

The Food Bank of Corpus Christi’s (FBCC) ‘Nutrition Education Program’ recently spent some time with kids from the La Armada Recreation Center discussing the importance of adding fruits and vegetables to their daily diets. The kid’s got a chance to cook healthy meals the FBCC hopes students will duplicate at home.
